"Lucy, here is what you do. The next time that person in your head tells you to pee pee in your pull-up, just say, 'NO I am not going to pee pee in my pull up I am gonna pee pee on the potty!' and then do it." I overheard Jesse saying that to Lucy last night.
Lucy is backsliding in a major way. She was totally going on the potty all day every day for at least a week. She'd have like one or two accidents a day. Until a few days ago...Now she goes on the potty once or twice and pees in her pull-up the rest of the day. I am not going to sweat it. She will do it when she is ready and the bigger deal I make of it the more stubborn she gets. Of course...my sweet, sassy, strong-willed, super, almost 3 year old.
{I would love some tips from anyone who has successfully dealt with a backslider before.}
