As I type this, Preslie is sliding the screen door open and closed over and over again. This little girl, as much or maybe even more than her brother and sisters, is way more interested in playing with ordinary things than toys. We rarely buy toys ourselves, but we have very generous family members who love to spoil the kids. Although, I have to admit that the spoiling has decreased as the number of kids have increased. That is a good thing!
After reorganizing this stack of diapers and pull-ups hundreds of times a day, I finally wised up and moved it to an enclosed box on a shelf. Preslie still dumps it out at least once a day, but it is much less of a temptation. So she moves on to the "plastics" cabinet in the kitchen to rearrange all of the tupperware, or the bathroom to play in the toilet if I am not careful. Never mind that they have a playroom full of exciting toys, regular old diapers, bowls and toilet water are much more fun!
Oh to be so easily amused! Love this baby girl!
