We are immersing ourselves in ancient Egypt this month. Nomads, pyramids, mummies, Pharaohs, kings, queens, false gods and much more...We have plenty of awesome books with beautiful pictures to keep us busy.
We practiced a little reverse hospitality yesterday. Shelby drew this picture of our family and wrote a letter to our neighbors with kids to introduce ourselves. They made cookies at Noni's yesterday and hand delivered the bags and letters to our neighbors. Arizona is much different from Kansas. Neighbors, at least in the neighborhoods we have lived in so far in AZ, tend to keep to themselves. Our across the street neighbors are super friendly and their kids are awesome, but we haven't really met many others. Hopefully the cookies will open the door for some new friendships!
