I think Lulubee might have my eyes. However, she has her Daddy to thank for those lashes!
Lucy has two special blankets that are both hand-me-downs from Jesse and Shelby. Shelby gave her a pink silkie blanket with princesses on the corner and Jesse gave her his green one. The green one is her favorite by far. People have given her new ultra-soft beautiful blankets, but the one she loves most is greenie. She likes to fold up a corner and rub it on her face or smell it until she falls asleep. Once when she was really upset she said to me, "I want my blankie...I need to smell it." Kind of freaky, I know. When she really wants to show us how much she loves us, she will share a corner with us and let us partake in the glorious smelling of the blankie.
Our after nap ritual lately has been for Lucy and Preslie to lay with me on the couch, watch PBS and drink some vanilla rice milk while they wake up. I love snuggling my baby girls!
